Welcome to Bhookh ("we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using our services via our mobile app or website, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.
1. User Responsibilities
- You must be a registered user to place orders.
- You agree to provide accurate personal and delivery information.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
2. Service Scope
We provide a platform to connect users with college cafeteria food vendors and facilitate ordering, payment, and pickup/delivery.
3. Order Placement
- Orders can only be placed via our official app.
- Once placed, your order is sent to the selected restaurant partner for confirmation and preparation.
4. Payments
- Payments are accepted via UPI only.
- A platform fee is added to each order to cover operational and payment processing costs.
- The total payable amount, including this fee, is shown before checkout.
- Payments will be made directly to M R Chandrashekhar
5. Refund & Cancellation Policy
Order Cancellation
- Before or After Order Confirmation: No cancellation or refund is possible.
- Cancellation on Unavailability : If the restaurant doesn't accept your order (due to unavailability of items), it will be cancelled and refund will be issued.
Refund Policy
Refund Eligibility:
- Cancelled Orders: If restaurant cancels, a full refund will be issued.
- Undelivered Orders: Full or partial refund will be processed after verification.
- Order Issues: For incorrect/missing items, raise a support request within 1 hour of delivery. Refunds may be issued accordingly.
Refund Method & Timeframe:
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method.
- Initiated within 1–2 business days; may take 3–7 business days to reflect.
Failed Transactions:
- If payment is debited but no order is placed, refunds are auto-initiated within 3–5 business days.
6. Pickup Policy
Order Processing & Dispatch:
- Orders are sent to the cafeteria/restaurant immediately upon confirmation.
- Food is prepared by the partner restaurant based on the estimated preparation time shown in the app.
- Users will receive a notification once their order is ready for pickup.
Estimated Pickup Time:
- Typically delivered within 15–45 minutes. You can place orders in advance for faster service.
Pickup Guidelines:
- Users are expected to pick up the order from the designated pickup counter as shown in the app.
- Failure to collect food within a reasonable time may result in quality deterioration. No refunds will be issued for late pickups. Orders will not be available for pickup once the restaurant closes.
7. Returns Policy
As food is perishable and made to order, we do not accept returns. However, if you experience any of the following, contact us within 1 hour:
- Wrong items delivered
- Missing items
- Spoiled or contaminated food
- Tampered packaging
Resolution: Refunds, credits, or replacement orders may be issued based on the case.

9. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by third-party vendors, traffic conditions, or force majeure events. Our liability is limited to the value of the affected order.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai.
11. Amendments
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app implies acceptance of the updated terms.
